**Tune In** SoCal Connected: Newspapers: The Final Edition?
KCET's Award-Winning News Program Has Encore Primetime Broadcast, as Part of Prestigious Friday Night Line-up that Includes 'Washington Week' and 'Bill Moyers' Journal' on Fridays at 8:30 PM.
SoCal Connected correspondent Judy Muller reports on Voice of San Diego, an online newspaper that isn't on the door step, but rather on the desktop. At times scooping the competition, is the Voice of San Diego forging a viable economic model for an industry in distress? KCET's award-winning news program, which recently won two Golden Mikes, including Best News Public Affairs Show, airs Thursdays (8:00 - 8:30 p.m.) and Fridays (8:30 - 9:00 p.m.).
Anchored by Val Zavala, SoCal Connected also previews the PBS documentary Inventing L.A.: The Chandlers & Their Times, a compelling look at how the ambitions, dreams and feuds of one family came to shape Los Angeles, including the Los Angeles Times.
WEB EXCLUSIVE: The SoCal Connected Web team takes you inside the NPR West studios, where a team of journalists continue to produce Day to Day knowing they'll be out of a job in March.
