Ankh Ra-MTV's Celebrity Vocal Coach is Back by Popular Demand in NYC with the Ultimate Voice Workshop and Showcase

NEW YORK, NY, February 02, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ankh Ra is the official vocal coach for the MTV's Making the Band-4, featuring the executive and artistic direction of Sean "Diddy" Combs, which also includes recording artists Day 26, Donnie Klang, and Danity Kane. Some of his past students include Jaheim, Kerry Washington, Bayje, Selita Ebanks, Cassie and Donald Fiason.

On February 10th - 18th, Ankh Ra AmenHetep will be back for a second time with his Ultimate Voice Workshop/Showcase at Shelter Studios in New York City. The previous workshops, held on December 8th- 12th, was an overwhelming success, of which 25 singers are scheduled to showcase their talent on February 1st, 2009 at the National Black Theater in New York City.

The Ultimate Voice Workshop is a 4 hour phenomenal instructional workshop, which includes various effective vocal and breathing techniques and strengthening exercises to increase vocal range, as well as coaching sessions designed to enhance confidence, performance style, vocal presentation practices and artistic transformation. After the vocal intensive course, chosen participants will exhibit their talent in a special Showcase event for Ankh Ra and music industry guest judges. First place winners will win $500; second place winners will win two private vocal lessons with Ankh Ra and third place winners will win one private vocal lesson with Ankh Ra.

Through his teaching and coaching style, Ankh Ra's appeal and influence on many people has earned him the title, "The Vocal Guru". Donnie Klang, Bad Boy Recording Artist declared to Ankh Ra, "Years from now, I will still be inspired by you....what you've shown me in the last couple of months has helped me in many ways. Your tough critiques have brought me up to a place where I have the extra energy to put into my work." On February 10th, 11th, and the 18th there will be workshops for ages 18 and up. On February 12th there will be a special workshop for professional singers and on February 13th and 14th there will be a workshop for teens ages 13-17. The vocal workshops will start at 6:15pm -10:30pm. Each session is limited to 15 students. The workshop location is at Shetler Studios is located at 244 West 54th Street / 12th Floor & Penthouse between Broadway & 8th Avenue.
