Antique wood trim and bar, stained glass atop large window views and a cozy stage, "Teddy's Bar and Grill" exudes Brooklyn history and atmosphere. And while you saver Portobello "Cubano" Mushrooms, a Swiss Burger or Blackened Catfish, Mulebone's clear, clean and sharp sound brings you home. Rugged and strong or soft, moving and beautiful, accomplished musicians Hugh Pool and John Ragusa master it all, a mix of American Roots style Blues with some Ragtime and other elements.

John harmonizes through a collection of silver and bamboo flutes, penny whistles, a pocket trombone and even plays some "Conch Shell" Blues. And guaranteed, you never heard foot stomping, heart pounding tunes like Hugh creates on the Blues Harp and Steel guitar. Their "Mulebone" CD spent 15 weeks in the Top 100 Albums on the "Americana Roots" chart for National radio airplay as reported by the Album Network, and completely sold out within the first year." They also won "Blues Artist of the Year" at radio stations across the U.S.A. By land, sea or air, admirers like David Rockefeller and Bruce Wasserstein have brought the duo in for private parties.
Bartender James / Mulebone will be back Thursdays Feb. 12th & Mar. 12th

Besides great music, the restaurant's more private backroom dining space comes with a fireplace and exhibits work by local artists. With a genuine love for the community, neighborhood activist, owner of the 121 year old establishment Felice Kirby hopes the current Williamsburg renaissance provides peace and prosperity for both new and long standing residents.
So have yourself a tall glass of Winter Ale, and catch a ride on the Mulebone train that's stopping regularly at Teddy's Bar and Grill.
