Pender Resigns Oswald Cleveland, Continues Insurance Career at Oswald Trippe & Company
CLEVELAND, Jan. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- James R. Pender has resigned from
Oswald Companies, concluding over fifty years of service with theCleveland
based insurance agency. The company, which he led for several decades, was
founded by his grandfather in 1893. Mr. Pender grew the small family agency
into one of the 50 largest privately held Insurance agencies in the country
and today it continues to be one of the oldest and largest, employee-owned
agencies in the nation. He has been instrumental in serving and helping grow
Cleveland area businesses over the years and he will continue to help the
Cleveland community by spending his time serving on boards of nonprofit
organizations.

Mr. Pender, a part time resident ofFlorida, will continue to serve as
Honorary Chairman of Oswald Trippe & Co, ofFort Myers, which he co-founded in
1980 with Mr. Gary Trippe, CEO.

President of the Cleveland Chapter of Chartered Property and Casualty
Underwriters, and taught collegiate level insurance courses for several years.
