Yumi Katsura Paris Fashion Show Collection Inspired by Famous Silver Screen Actresses

PASADENA, Calif., Jan. 23 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Yumi Katsura, a pioneer Japanese haute couture fashion designer, is previewing her new collection at the Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris on Tuesday January 27th, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. Each of the 25 dresses in this collection is individually inspired by 25 actresses of the silver screen.

Each dress recalls the timeless beauty of such well known screen stars as; Greta Garbo, Ingrid Bergman, Jean Harlow, May West, Judy Garland, Sophia Loren, Grace Kelly and more

This years collection is entitled "Oscar Night" and will be previewed at the George V. Salon Vendome. "The collection uses the finest combination of artistry and the most novel materials available to create the loveliest silhouette from every angle," said Yumi Katsura.

Yumi's latest collection creates the illusion and fantasy of a red carpet "Oscar(R) Night" from years gone by in Paris.
