The Media Trust Company Unveils VideoCampaign Verifier

Third-Party Launch Verification of Video Ad Placements and Targeting for Fastest-Growing Online Ad Format

The Media Trust Company (www.themediatrust.com) has formally unveiled video launch verification including automated screenshots, an extension of its industry-leading ad verification and research solution that is customized exclusively for online video advertising.

The Media Trust Company ("MTC") began providing video launch verification and automated screenshots to its screenshot automation clients in 4th Quarter 2008.

The launch verification and screenshots solution, marketed as MTC VideoCampaign Verifier, is a proprietary technology and service to verify and analyze online video advertising campaigns -- documenting the ads were placed where, when and the way they were intended.

MTC currently monitors online ad campaigns for many of the top publishers, video ad networks, and agencies selling and buying online advertising globally, said Chris Olson, president of The Media Trust Company.

"MTC VideoCampaign Verifier automates the process of viewing, verifying and reporting on video ad campaign placements, on all the web sites, in real time, not days or weeks later," Olson said. "It saves time and improves client service through the supply chain -- publisher/network to agency, and agency to advertiser."

"Ad by individual ad, not panels, VideoCampaign Verifier fully integrates video with the formats already supported by The Media Trust Company, including traditional and mobile online media," Olson said.

Video is the fastest-growing online ad format and is projected to triple its share of online ad dollars from 2008 to 2012, according to a November 2008 report by eMarketer. Ad spending on online video is projected to grow from $590 million in 2008 to nearly $3 billion in 2012.

Since 2004, The Media Trust Company, based in McLean, Va., provides automated tearsheets, campaign launch verification, and competitive research for display, flash video, and search/text advertising for online and mobile Internet media.
