Lord Pashupatinath of Nepal, A Great Shrine of Entire Hindus
First of all let me thank D.R.Prasai for his great and dedicated job promoting Nepal's cultural, traditional and religious aspects. It's a really inspirable and appreciable hard works of Mr. Prasain, author of "Hindu Shrine: Pashupatinath in Nepal" brought by your online edition. I believe through people which from different walks of life could be benefited out of the article in gaining much knowledge about the most sacred and important pilgrimage to the entire Hindu community of the globe, Lord Pashupatinath, a five faced stone image of Lord Shiva.
The temple of Lord Pashupatinath, which is known as a common place of great faith and sacred to more than a hundred million Hindus belong to different parts of globe. It's a highly prayed and greatly trusted God among the Hindus that is why it also called "Debadi Deb Mahadeb (God's God)
The temple has been attached sentimentally and devotionally to more than eighty percent Nepali and almost ninety million Indians. So, before taking any decision about its management, they should be very careful about not disturbing and hampering to the sentiments and other concerns of the entire Hindus community. But, unfortunately, the current Maoist government tried for hurting many by breaking the culture and tradition in the appointment of new priests, which unnecessarily created problem and tension among majority of Nepali and Hindus around world.
All these interventions in cultural, religious and traditional continuity, which are also protected rights of citizens as well in the main law of land, could sketch the future of unhindered culture of the nation under the current Maoist Government.
Prior to this, the government also tried to disturb the traditional continuity in Indra-Jatra as well. So, it's now become the duty of all Nepalis and the entire Hindus community to be more cautious and effortful to safe guard the cultural, religious and traditional rights.
