About EoPlex Technologies, Inc.

EoPlex produces components using innovative deposition techniques based on custom print-forming technology and proprietary forming "inks". The process builds complex parts from 3-D micro voxels of proprietary ceramic, metallic or polymer materials. Millions of individual voxels of material are deposited simultaneously, providing great design flexibility. This allows the manufacture of components with integrated chambers, channels, RF elements, sensors, circuits, reactors, energy scavengers and other features. Thousands of parts are created simultaneously in large panels resulting in low cost, even with complex designs. The process does not use any hard tooling except print masks, screens, plates or rollers. As a result, design changes are quick, allowing fast time to market. The company has applied for ISO 9001 certification and is planning to open its first manufacturing facility in Q1 to produce ceramic cell phone antennas. Other products under development include semiconductor packages, energy harvesters, micropumps and fluidic components. EoPlex is a privately held company based inRedwood City, CA and is backed by ATA Ventures, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Labrador Ventures, and Draper-Richards.
