  • Barack Obama makes his debut in comic books, as the President-elect appears in the latest issue of Spider-Man, which is out today. The plot of revolves the web-slinging crimefighter and his photographer alter-ego Peter Parker saving the inauguration of Obama. Spider-Man #583 is available at right now.

  • They've brought us The Great Escape, The Fugitive, and most recently The Dirty Dozen. Now, FOX's Prison Break is taking an permanent break, as the series comes to an end after four seasons. The series will pick up where it left off last November with brothers Michael (Wentworth Miller) and Lincoln (Dominic Purcell) on possibly opposite sides when it involves The Company. Prison Break will return to air its final episodes this spring.

  • In baby news, Days of Our Lives star and Biggest Loser host Alison Sweeney and husband Dave Sanov welcomed baby daughter Megan Hope Monday night, joining three-year-old big brother Ben. And speaking of Ben, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner has decided to name their baby daughter Seraphina Rose Elizabeth Affleck. This is the couple's second child, joining three-year-old big sister Violet.

  • TORONTO: A press release has stated that actress Tonya Lee Williams has been nominated for an NAACP Award Outstanding Actress in a Daytime Series for her work on CBS' The Young & The Restless. The actress returned to the #1 soap after a three-year, self-imposed hiatus as Dr. Olivia Winters, a role she has portray over the last 15 years. "It's wonderful to be back on the show, the time away has revitalized my passion for the character and I can't wait to see what the writers have in store for Olivia over the coming year" she states.     On the CW starting at 8pm is an all-new Smallville, which marks the debut of the Legion of Superheroes as they come from the future to help future Superman Clark Kent (Tom Welling) when Brainiac has taken over Chloe (Allison Mack), who tells Davis that he's Doomsday -- sent to destroy the world ... and Kal-El. Then at 9pm is an all-new Supernatural, where Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) tried to save a family being haunted by a spirit in their house.

  • Also at 9pm on CBS is the end of an era on CSI, in which Gil Grissom (William Petersen) leaves Las Vegas once again -- this time for good. However, Grissom will return to CSI from time to time, and Petersen will stay on as executive producer. For the past nine seasons, this brilliant yet quirky criminalist has been an scientist, an leader, a father figure, a friend, and an fan favorite for he speaks for those that can't speak for themselves: knowing that the evidence doesn't lie.
