Italian Language Classes beginning in Folsom in February!!

The Murer House Foundation is starting its Winter 2009 language classes at the Murer House Learning Center, 1125 Joe Murer Court, in old Folsom in February. Students can learn Italian in small and supportive classes designed to maximize contact with the teacher. Present and former students, and others interested in practicing their skills, are encouraged to call for conversation practice nights on Monday nights.

Italian for Beginners For the complete beginner or someone wanting to review the basics, this is the course for you. Italian history and culture will also be discussed. The instructor will provide information on purchasing Prego!, the class text book you can use in this and future Italian classes. Tuesdays 7 pm to 9 pm, February 17 through April 7 Fee: $120 for 8 sessions

Italian for Travelers ~~Introduction to Italian For the complete beginner or someone who wants to prepare for that dream trip to italia, this is the course for you. Italian travel tips, history and culture will also be discussed. A travel workbook with time-tested tips, phrases, and other valuable information will be available for an additional $28 that you can either use alone or share with a partner. Thursdays 7 pm to 9 pm, February 19 through April 9 Fee: $120/110 MHF discount

Conversation Italian This class is designed for continuing students or someone wanting to review.

The instructor will provide lessons from Prego!, the class text book you can use in this and future Italian classes, as well as other in-class activities designed to broaden your language skills. Mondays 7 pm to 9 pm, February 16 through April 6 Fee: $120 for 8 sessions
