Launch of B2B Portal with Latin American Businesses for International Commerce Called Perfeto.com

The site is being launched with the objective of being able to help companies in the U.S. do business with companies inLatin America, since trade has been hurt by the severe crisis.

According to the International Development Bank (IDB), there are at least 8.4 million formal businesses in the 14 biggest countries in the region. Of these, 93% are micro-enterprises, which account for between 60% and 80% of the employment in most of the countries in the region, and small and medium sized businesses generate between 30% and 60% of the gross value of production (GVP) in most Latin American countries.
