a la mode Promotes Brian Craven to Chief Financial Officer
OKLAHOMA CITY, Jan. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- a la mode, inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of Brian Craven, CPA, to the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Mr. Craven is responsible for the company's economic strategy and forecasting, financial accounting and planning, and management of the company's financial performance.
Mr. Craven graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting from Oklahoma City University, Meinders School of Business. Prior to joining a la mode in 1998, he worked in the Workers' Compensation industry. "For many years as a staff accountant, then Controller, Brian has provided a la mode with consistent, superior support and service. His analytical and technical skills, combined with his intuitive and collaborative management style, will serve him very well in his new role as CFO," said Scott Kinnaird, Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Craven's dedicated service and his progression through the company are remarkable. Promoted to Controller in 2001 and then to Vice President of Accounting in 2004, his duties have included financial statement design, presentation, and analysis; overseeing Payroll, Accounts Payable and Receivable; and supervising and administering fixed asset management, budget management, and tax return preparation.
