OnCars Video Car Reviews Hit One Million Monthly Online Views in December 2008

ALISO VIEJO, Calif., Jan. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Barely more than seven months since launch, the OnCars content brand closed out 2008 with more than one million online video views in the month of December. This capped a year of dramatic traffic growth for OnCars.com at a time when most other automotive sites recorded significant declines. OnCars.com features independently produced video car reviews, written car reviews, car photo galleries and automotive news.

At launch on May 19, 2008, OnCars founders Jay Penske, Paul Pfanner and Bill Sparks promised to engage consumers with in-depth broadcast-quality automotive video reviews that convey the emotional proposition found in every car. The formula seems to be working: OnCars.com served 801,404 video streams in December with 70% played through to completion. In addition to on-site video plays, 250,068 OnCars car review videos were viewed in December on the YouTube.com and Streetfire.net OnCars' channels, bringing the grand total of video views for the month to 1,051,472.

OnCars continues to build even more momentum entering 2009 as two highly respected leaders in automotive media join the team. The first is EVP of Sales, Steve Rousseau, who is the former Group Publisher of Motor Trend and Automobile magazines.
