Clinical Xpert Navigator From Thomson Reuters Is Named Best Mobile Data System in the KLAS Awards - for Seventh Consecutive Year
ANN ARBOR, Mich., Jan. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- The Healthcare business of
Thomson Reuters announced today that its Clinical Xpert(TM) Navigator has been
named the Category Leader for Mobile Data Systems in the latest "Top 20 Best
in KLAS Awards: Software & Professional Services" report.
This is the seventh consecutive year that the Navigator solution (formerly
MercuryMD MData) has been ranked number one.
Clinical Xpert Navigator beat the competition in virtually every major
category evaluated by KLAS, a research firm that monitors and reports on the
performance of healthcare technology vendors. In compiling the report, KLAS
assesses vendor performance through a process that includes confidential
customer interviews with chief information officers, healthcare executives,
managers, and clinicians.
Customers awarded Clinical Xpert Navigator outstanding scores on primary
indicators such as "money's worth," "quality and timeliness of interfaces,"
and "helps your job performance." And Navigator scored 94 percent or higher on
key business indicators such as "would buy again," "recommend to a
friend/peer," and "client's best or one of the best vendors." In addition,
Navigator scored 8.41 out of a possible 9 points on the overall product
quality rating.
"The KLAS rankings identify the healthcare IT vendors that excel in
providing high quality products and excellent customer service," said Jason
Hess, General Manager, Clinical Research for KLAS Research. "Thomson Reuters
customers continue to show their satisfaction with the Clinical Xpert
Navigator solution by again ranking them as the best vendor for Mobile Data
Systems."
Thomas Hegelund, Executive Vice President of the Healthcare business of
Thomson Reuters, said this recognition illustrates the company's market
leadership in mobile data systems for healthcare providers. "Our number one
goal is to provide solutions that help our customers improve their clinical
performance -- and to support these products with first-class customer
service," Hegelund said. "We do this by listening to our customers,
understanding their needs, and using these insights to guide continued
