Vista Del Mar Announces Its Much-Anticipated Winter Schedule Beginning January 26, 2009

Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services, located in Culver City, Los Angeles, is proud to announce a transformative opportunity for children with special needs, including Autism, to enroll in its state of the art Vista Inspire Program, under the esteemed leadership of celebrated educator and feature film studio coach, Elaine Hall ("Coach E"), as profiled in the HBO's Emmy Award winning documentary "Autism: The Musical," (and in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, US News and World Report, Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, and on CNN and CNN International).

The Winter open enrollment program begins January 26, 2009 and will take place on the Vista Del Mar campus, located at 3200 Motor Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90034.

Founded on the revolutionary "Miracle Minded" principles of Elaine Hall and Diane Isaac's Miracle Project philosophy which develops and amplifies the child's individual ability within their perceived disabilities, the Vista Inspire Program offers a synergistic and life affirming curriculum for children and their families in the areas of music, dance, visual art, theater, sports and recreation, Jewish education, healthy lifestyle programs for parents, and integrated social events.

The Inspire Programs of Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services are customized and designed to foster growth and development in the core areas of socialization, spirituality, creativity and experiencing a deep and nourishing sense of joy for children of all abilities and the families who love them.

The rich and diverse Winter Season programs includes: Miracle Theatre Pre-School, for children 3-6, Miracle Theatre for children 7-14, advanced Miracle Theatre (ages: 7 and up), Miracle Sports and Recreation (ages 7-17). Nes Gadol Bar/Bat Mitzvah Class (ages 11 and up), Post Bar/Bat Mitzvah Class (ages 13-up), and Autism 360(TM): Parent Stress Management and Support Group.

The Nes Gadol programs as seen on Time Warner and CNN, are cutting edge multi-sensory dynamic programs innovated to provide young participants a sacred space in order to cultivate a deeper understanding of their own Jewish identity and connection to their religious community by means of the exploration of Jewish concepts, values, and laws.

World-class educator, Stephen M. Shore, EdD, Professor of Education at Adelphi University, greatly anticipates the arrival of this new educational season. "By focusing on strengths and what people with autism can do, the 'Miracle Minded' approach single-handedly blasts away the myths of deadened emotions and desire for relationships with others," states Shore.
