Shawnee Academy Signs Management Contract with Northwestern Management Services Company
LAFAYETTE HILL, Pa., Jan. 6 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Shawnee Academy, a psychiatric residential treatment facility and private academic school for children and adolescents with special needs located inShawnee-on-Delaware, PA, has entered into a management agreement with Northwestern Management Services Company (NMSC) inBlue Bell, PA to provide management services for all program operations at Shawnee Academy.
The management contract commenced January 5, 2009 and Mr. Brian Chilcote has been appointed Acting Executive Director for Shawnee Academy, Ltd. There will be no changes to the existing Program Service Description or required staffing patterns. All contracts and regulatory licenses will remain under the direct administrative oversight of Shawnee Academy requiring no contract or licensing property changes. Shawnee Academy and its highly qualified staff remain committed to providing the highest quality of treatment and education to the children in their care.
NMSC and its parent company, NHS Human Services, with headquarters inLafayette Hill, PA, were recognized by Shawnee Academy's Board of Directors as being highly qualified to provide these management services. NHS Human Services is a nationally significant, quality-oriented and mission driven organization with significant expertise in the quality care of youth. They currently provide a wide range of human services in eight states.
