Honeywell Air Purifiers Offers Complete Line of Physician-Recommended True HEPA Air Purifiers, Preferred Technology Outlined by California Air Resources Board

The California Air Resources Board (ARB)
recently recommended that consumers interested in purchasing air purifiers
or air cleaners this holiday season avoid devices that intentionally
generate ozone. According to ARB's press release
(http://www.arb.ca.gov/newsrel/nr120108.htm), "Ozone, a well-known
component of smog, has been extensively studied and the harmful effects
well documented."
ARB recommends consumers should look instead for air purifier models that
use HEPA filters or electrostatic precipitators that do not emit high
amounts of ozone. Honeywell Air Purifiers offer a complete line of
effective and affordable true HEPA air purifiers. In fact, more physicians
recommend Honeywell air purifiers to their patients than any other brand.
Guidance for selecting air cleaners, including ratings in Consumer Reports
articles and ARB's fact sheet titled "Air Cleaning Devices for the Home:
Frequently Asked Questions," are accessible at:
http://www.arb.ca.gov/research/indoor/ozone.htm.
