Slava Ultra Premium-Vodka That Makes Perfect Cents
Premium quality vodka at twenty-five per cent less cost than its competitors
Slava Ultra Premium Vodka has the quality and taste of Grey Goose but sells for about $15 less per bottle. A concept difficult to grasp perhaps, but when the facts are considered, it makes perfect sense (or cents).
"We've done the taste tests and have gone head-to-head with a number of ultra premium brands, including Grey Goose, and our results have shown that a significant majority choose Slava over any other vodka brand," John Vellinga, president of Multiculture Bevco - Canadian owner and distributor of Slava Ultra Premium Vodka. "What's amazing is this, two-thirds chose Slava over their favourite vodka."
Those who have tried Slava Ultra Premium Vodka describe the taste as clean and exceptionally smooth with no after-burn. The reason - it's four times distilled and 12 times filtered, is made from the finest ingredients, and developed with experts from one of the oldest distilleries in Ukraine dating back to 1896.
But with quality like that, one might wonder how it can sell for so much less than other ultra premium vodkas.
"It's actually quite simple," says John Vellinga. "The cost to produce ultra premium vodka is more than your ordinary brand - but most of the extra cost is the production of the exquisite bottle designs of the other ultra premium brands."
This should come as no surprise to those who know and understand the industry. One only need look at the elaborate bottle designs and you can't help but think, that's expensive!
"I think they're designed to wow the consumer and get them thinking that with a bottle like that and a price like that, the vodka must be good," exclaims says Vellinga. "Slava Ultra Premium chose to feature the vodka itself, its taste and quality, and go with a bottle design that was attractive but made practical sense - triangular in shape, you can stand it up, lay it on its side, stack it in the freezer and it won't roll around - and it costs less - a whole lot less."
In a challenging economic environment, the idea of choosing ultra premium vodka like Slava makes sense. It allows the consumer to enjoy good taste and quality while spending less - 25 per cent less.
