Dow Jones Acquires Database Assets of Venture Capital Research Firm Library House

NEW YORK andLONDON, Jan. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Dow Jones today announced it has expanded its coverage of European venture capital data by acquiring from administration the database assets of The Library House Ltd., aCambridge, U.K.-based provider of data on emerging private companies inEurope. Library House had been placed in administration on December 23, 2008. The acquisition furthers Dow Jones's larger strategy to build and maintain the world's most compelling news and business information collection to help customers make better business decisions.
