Hair Extensions Can Make Women Go Bald

There is nothing more pathetic than a dude with a bad toupee, with the possible exception of a woman with hair extensions. A toupee makes a guy look like he's walking around with a dead squirrel on his head, and extensions make a chick look like a science experiment gone horribly wrong.

I would never date a lady with hair extensions; nine times out of ten she's as fake as her extensions. It turns out that hair extensions are not only unsightly, but they are also unhealthy.

"Socialite Paris Hilton sports them, Victoria Beckham has them too. Well, hair extensions may be a hot trend with many others but they can make the fair sex go bald, dermatologists have warned.

A joint team of researchers from American and Italian universities has found that hairpieces, which are attached to real hair with glue, put too much tension on hair roots and as a result can lead to thinning hair and permanent bald patches.

In fact, according to them, extensions cause follicles to become so inflamed that the hair falls out -- a condition known as traction alopecia. And as a result, women can be left with permanent bald spots as the damage is irreversible."http://www.hindu.com/thehindu/holnus/008200901021761.htm

It's ironic that a woman who wears extensions to make her look like she has a full head of hair, will end up with bald patches.

Ladies a smart guy will love you just the way you are, please flush your extensions down the toilet.
