MONTREAL, QUEBEC - (Marketwire - Dec. 19, 2008) - Due to its resounding success, (almost one million videos have been created since its launch less than a month ago), the Portable North Pole (PNP) free Santa video greeting service will be parked directly on the Sympatico/MSN English home page this weekend to give parents and caregivers a last minute reprieve if they missed getting in touch with Santa this busy pre-holiday season.

With a little help from an adult (parent or friend), children can receive a one-minute personalised video message containing their name, age, preferred gift, a few secrets that only they know, and it can include even their picture. It is free and absolutely secure.

Go to http://portablenorthpole.sympatico.msn.ca/home, or link through the Sympatico/MSN English home page this weekend, and in less than 60 seconds, through a user-friendly interface, users answer a few questions to help Santa put his message together which can be watched immediately and then sent to either the parent or child.

In putting Portable North Pole together, Santa's elves and the Sympatico / MSN website turned to Ugroupmedia (www.ugroupmedia.com). This young company created a personalised video platform (beta), for which it has a patent pending. The company will launch other concepts in the near future that, among other things, could be integrated into existing productions for use by the electronic media, advertising agencies and clients, sponsors, video producers, and bloggers.

Alexandre Berard, CEO of Ugroupmedia, is very proud of the immediate success of his Portable North Pole. "The application was launched on Sympatico / MSN's French-language homepage on November 24, 2008. On the very first day, 1,000 videos were created every hour or one every 3.5 seconds. We have now had almost one-million videos made."

Veronica Holmes, Senior Director, Portal content and business strategy, Sympatico / MSN added "It's a well designed product, very relevant for our users and it is much more popular than we anticipated."

Ugroupmedia specialises in the development and implementation of web-based personalised video innovative solutions.
