STORExpress tenants will utilize the Boomerang Automated Self Storage
system by driving up to one of six ground floor loading bays, approach an
access door and enter their specific access code into a keypad. After an
average 90 second container retrieval time, the automated roll-up door unveils
the tenant's personally locked storage unit. When the tenant is done loading
or unloading his valuables, the system returns the storage container safely
back inside the facility where it is inaccessible without the tenant's
personal security code. Key features of the storage facility include a patent
pending Padlock Plus(TM) security system that allows access to locker units
only with entry of the proper security code, a safe and attractive common area
adjacent to STORExpress, climate controlled insulated units and the
convenience of drive up access to all units.
"This is a win, win, win for STORExpress and ourPittsburgh self storage
customers. We maximize the usage of our land, offer a unique option that
caters to the self storage consumer who wants the very best, and we generate a
stronger brand marketing message," says STORExpress owner Steve Mitnick.
