Jimmy's Egg Opens at 41st Street and Peoria
TULSA, Okla., Dec. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- The first of seven Jimmy's Egg
locations planned for theTulsa market has opened at 41st Street andSouth
Peoria adjacent to the Ace Hardware store. Jimmy's Egg is a 30-year-old
Oklahoma-based breakfast and lunch chain that is recognized for its high value
build your own omelets and fresh baked raisin and country white breads. The
Peoria Jimmy's Egg is open daily serving a full breakfast and lunch menu with
most meals priced below $6.00.
"Being aTulsa native I understand that great corner locations onSouth
Peoria are hard to come by so we were very fortunate to have had Ace Hardware
offer us such a great site to launch our development program," said Ken Burke,
operating partner of Overeasy, LLC. According to Burke the second Jimmy's Egg
is under construction at southeast 71st and Garnett and will open in March
2009.
Jimmy's Egg has 15 locations operating inKansas andOklahoma. Jimmy's
Egg Franchise Systems began franchising in April of 2008 and currently has
franchise development partners inTulsa, OK,Wichita, KS,Springfield, MO and
Houston, TX. "We expect to add at least three additional Area Developers in
2009," according to Jim Burke, manager of Jimmy's Egg Franchise Systems.
Jimmy's Egg Franchise Systems is based inOklahoma City and is owned by a
partnership group led byTulsa native Jim Burke, the former president and CEO
ofOklahoma-based Eateries Inc and Loc Le, the founder of Jimmy's Egg. Burke
co-founded the Garfield's Restaurant chain of 55 restaurants in 20 states
which was sold to an investment group at the end of 2006.
