Gay Nativity Display Features Two Josephs and Two Marys

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A Dutch gay group said Monday it has planned a 'Pink Christmas' festival for the first time in Amsterdam, featuring a manger stall with two Josephs and two Marys.

Other attractions in the 10-day festival include parties, an open-air market, gay-themed films, an ice skating rink and religious services on Dec. 25.

ProGay group chairman Frank van Dalen said Monday the event is intended to increase the choices for homosexual men and women during the Christmas holiday week." The Associated Press

It's freewheeling Amsterdam so instead of having wise men bearing gifts of frankincense and myrrh, the manger scene should feature dope dealers bearing gifts of weed and cocaine.

Christians assume that Mary, Joseph and the twelve apostles were heterosexuals, it's only right that a gay rights group portray Mary and Joseph as gays. As long as the Pink Christmas nativity display doesn't include more than one Jesus, Christians have no right to complain.

Lesbians and gays are entitled to their own take on the Christmas story, fundamentalists are free to celebrate a traditional white Christmas where everyone is heterosexual and dying to shop till they drop.

Some Christian groups in Amsterdam are complaining, I think they should visit one of Amsterdam's famous coffee shops where you can purchase weed and just chill out.
