Ute Lake Ranch Golf and Waterstyle Development Continues to Make Great Progress

MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo., Dec. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Ute Lake Ranch, Golf and Waterstyle Community is moving forward with closings, sales and continuing interest in the beautifulNortheastern New Mexico property. An extensive development with growing amenities and outdoor opportunities, ten houses are reaching completion.

"The first phase of 120 out of 181 lots already have all roads, curbs and gutters installed and water and sewers are all activated," says Bruce Hamon, a Ute Lake Ranch partner and principal in Hamon Contractors.

The cornerstone of Ute Lake Ranch is the expansive 13 mile-long body of water within the spectacular bluff country and legendary climate ofNortheastern New Mexico. Among the activities that the lake provides are boating, fishing, water skiing, jet skiing, and canoeing. The property is planning to introduce the waterside front nine holes of its one-of-a-kind Nicklaus Design championship golf course in summer of 2009.

TwelveShores Golf Club will have a dozen fairways that play along the same body of water, Ute Lake, upon completion. Ute Lake Ranch, Inc., along with Carma Developers is partnering in the long-range development of the visionary community. "We are re-defining southwestern community living," says Tom Morton senior vice president, Carma Developers, which has developed 80-plus master-planned communities acrossNorth America. "Families will be able to enjoy together all that lakeside living has to offer as well as off road cycling and hiking."

Other amenities well under way include the construction of the temporary lake view sales center/golf facility set to open in Spring 2009. In addition, the property's main entrance road is near completion and all access roads are being paved using natural materials, including shale and sand, from the property quarry.
