Honoring Genaro "Chicanito" Hernandez

On behalf of the WBC Cares and the WBC Legends of Boxing Museum, we personally request your presence and /or support as we will be hosting an event at the WBC Legends of Boxing Museum on January 17, 2009.  Every event we do is always special to us, but this time it is even more special because we are honoring Genaro "Chicanito" Hernandez. 

In addition to being a legendary fighter, Genaro is known around the world for being one of the most genuine and loving personalities in the sport of boxing.  Currently, Chicanito is in great need of your prayers as he is facing the biggest fight of his life.

Genaro was diagnosed two months ago with a very rare cancer that has spread very rapidly.  Since his insurance carrier is refusing to cover all his needed treatments, the WBC is asking you to join us on this day to support his needs.       

A dinner and entertainment, along with a silent auction will be part of this event. The cost will be a minimum donation of $400.00 for a table of eight. Individual tickets are available for a minimum donation of $50.00 dollars per person.

     On behalf of Jill Diamond and Rudy Tellez we thank you in advance for supporting Genaro and his family. We appreciate your contribution in supporting our Champ. Please purchase your tickets in advance, as we have limited space available. 

If you want to participate, but are unable to attend, please send your generous donations to the following address because any donation will be greatly appreciated. 100% of the money goes to the Hernandez family.
