UTStarcom to Host a Conference Call on December 18, 2008

(Nasdaq: UTSI) today announced that it will host a conference call with the
financial community on Thursday, December 18, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. PST / 5:00
p.m. EST.
The call focused on UTStarcom's business model and additional expense
reduction initiatives will be hosted by Peter Blackmore, CEO and president,
