American Revolution Center Signs on with FRS
MCLEAN, Va., Dec. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Bruce Eberle, President of Fund
Raising Strategies, a direct mail fundraising agency, announced today that
after a very successful test mailing, the American Revolution Center at Valley
Forge has signed a Continuing Agreement with his firm to help raise the funds
needed to build the first museum and long-distance learning facility dedicated
solely to telling the complete story of the American Revolution. The Center
will showcase the nation's most extensive and extremely rare collection of
American Revolution objects, artifacts and manuscripts. The long-distance
learning center will host programs, lectures, and symposia for Revolutionary
War scholars and provide unique educational opportunities for students, as
well as the general public.
The story told by the American Revolution Center is sure to inspire
Americans from all walks of life and backgrounds. The Center will include an
auditorium for school and scholarly presentations, an outdoor terrace and
programming spaces, and trails and walkways through the 78-acre site.
Upon signing the Agreement, Bruce Eberle, President of Fund Raising
Strategies said, "Speaking for every member of the FRS team, we are pleased to
have been chosen to assist in the raising of funds for this great project. The
story of Valley Forge is, in many ways, the story of the American Revolution.
It is a story of sacrifice, and courage, and leadership worth telling, and one
that Americans will support enthusiastically and strongly."
The direct mail campaign created by Fund Raising Strategies is just one
element of the $150 million fund drive being undertaken by the Board of the
American Revolution Center at Valley Forge.
