Enterprise, AL Is the 8th New Store for Santa Fe in 2008
The popular and rapidly
growing Santa Fe Cattle Co. (PINKSHEETS: SFHD) roadhouse style steak
restaurant chain will officially open the doors to its 27th location at
4:00 p.m. in Enterprise, Alabama, on Monday, December 8th. The opening
marks the 8th new unit the company has opened in 2008. Santa Fe Cattle Co.
brings Enterprise residents the opportunity to experience simply awesome
food in a very distinctive down-home casual atmosphere at a reasonable
price. The new store is part of publicly traded parent company Santa Fe
Holding Company's plan to expand the chain by nine locations in 2008, with
an additional 12 stores slated for 2009.
"The Enterprise, Alabama location is a perfect fit for us. The citizens
have been tremendous, the local government officials were a pleasure to
work with and we look forward to becoming a part of this great community
and serving up some of the finest steaks around," states Santa Fe Cattle
Co. President John Davis.
The Enterprise location continues to complement Santa Fe's Alabama
presence. Within 50 miles of its Troy, Alabama location which opened in
February of 2008, this creates an opportunity to serve the area more
efficiently.
Construction began in June of 2008 on this Santa Fe Cattle Co. located at
6011 Boll Weevil Circle, Enterprise, AL. It features the company's newly
developed design; with space to seat 187 guests in a 5947 square foot
layout. The family-friendly restaurant chain currently operates in seven
states, including locations in Troy and Auburn, AL. Flourishing in spite of
the troubled economy, the company's strong sales and revenue growth have
established Santa Fe as one of the fastest growing concepts in the
restaurant industry, with 57% revenue growth in 2007. The company is
projecting a revenue increase of over 60% for 2008.
