Rainmaker Heads for California
AccuWeather.com reports a new Pacific storm will move into California by Tuesday. The disturbance will bring much-needed rain to fire-ravaged California. However, the rain could spark mudslides and flash flooding in the areas of Southern California that were stripped of vegetation by wildfires earlier this month.
As much as 2 inches of rain is possible in the mountains of central and Southern California, with higher amounts possible in some areas. Snow levels will remain high before dipping to below resort levels by Wednesday. As much as two feet of snow could fall before the storm system moves to the East by Thanksgiving Day.
