Twilight Shines Online: Fandango Sells an Estimated 15% of Film's Opening Weekend Box Office
LOS ANGELES, Nov. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Fandango, the nation's leading movie
ticketing destination, announced today that it sold an estimated 15% of all
tickets for Twilight, which took in a projected domestic weekend box office of
$70.5 million*.

Twilight made a major impact on Fandango:
-- Fandango's percentage of Twilight ticket sales ranks #2 among the
company's largest share of a feature film's opening weekend box office. Only
Fandango's 16% of Sex and the City's opening weekend was higher.
-- Twilight is #3 on the list of Fandango's top advance ticket-sellers.
(Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and The Dark Knight are the only
films to sell more tickets in advance.)
-- As of Sunday morning 9:00 a.m. PT, 63% of Twilight moviegoers plan to
see it again, indicating that the film will enjoy repeat viewings, according
to an ongoing Fandango.com poll.
