Cavallo Point - The Lodge at the Golden Gate Announces Midweek Escape and Bayside Romance Packages
Travelers Invited to Experience One of America's Must-See Green Landmarks

Cavallo Point - the Lodge at the Golden
Gate, San Francisco Bay's first national park lodge, offers travelers
and locals alike two packages to experience the Bay Area's newest upscale,
environmentally sustainable property which was just named one of America's
10 green landmarks by Travel + Leisure. Cavallo Point Lodge establishes an
elegant "base camp" where the city's urban edge meets coastal wildlands.
The Midweek Escape
invites guests to a night out by the Bay. The package includes one night in
a Golden Gate Jr.
Suite with Golden Gate Bridge view, plus breakfast at Murray
Circle and overnight parking. The Midweek Escape is $520 per night,
available Sunday to Thursday. Additional nights may be added.

The Bayside Romance
Package gives couples two nights' accommodation in a Bayside King
Deluxe room featuring city and bay views, a chilled bottle of champagne
and decadent chocolates on arrival, daily breakfast for two at Murray
Circle and overnight parking. The two-night package is $860. Additional
nights may be added for $430 per night.
These two packages are valid now through May 31, 2009, excluding Nov. 27
and Dec. 24-31, and are based on double occupancy. Taxes and gratuities are
not included. Packages are commissionable to travel agents.
For special small-group occasions, guests may reserve an entire historic
residence. These former military officers' quarters, built at the turn of
the last century and restored to their full glory, offer four to 12
bedrooms with spacious living quarters in a variety of configurations. Each
residence also features its own front porch with rocking chairs. House
rates vary by residence and range from $1,175 to 3,785 per night.
Lodge guests are welcome to enjoy a variety of activities, such as
hiking and biking along spectacularly scenic coastline trails; yoga classes
in a century-old chapel; savoring Michelin-starred cuisine at Murray
Circle, the lodge's signature restaurant; reveling at Farley Bar with one
of largest wine cellars in California; relaxing with a restorative wellness
treatment at the Healing Arts Center & Spa; and at day's end, residing in
one of the property's 68 carefully restored historic rooms and suites or
one of 74 artfully designed contemporary rooms and suites.
Guests also have the option to discover deeper enrichment via signature,
pre-booked adventures
and programs that pair property amenities with focused agendas in
adventure & well-being, creative arts, and the culinary arts.
