The Laclede Group Increases Quarterly Dividend

ST. LOUIS, Nov. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- At today's meeting of the Board of Directors of The Laclede Group, Inc. (NYSE: LG), the Board increased the quarterly dividend from 37 1/2 cents per share to 38 1/2 cents per share on its common stock, par value $1.00 per share, which represents $1.54 on an annualized basis. The dividend will be payable on January 2, 2009, to shareholders of record on December 11, 2008. This marks the 62nd consecutive year for the payment of cash dividends by the Company, and its predecessor, Laclede Gas Company, on its common stock.
