AcuTech, a global leader in process safety and security risk management consulting, training, and software services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Janet Fish as Senior Security/Emergency Management Consultant, working out of Washington, D.C. Ms. Fish's duties will focus on Security Management and bridging the requirements of government and the needs of the private sector regarding national security mandates.

Ms. Fish, formerly executive manager and program analyst with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and U.S. Coast Guard liaison officer, National Targeting Center, offers a broad-based background in global and domestic personnel security issues along with 15 years in safety and health management. Her experience includes working with DOD, CIA, NSA, NCIS, and private sector companies in handling security clearance information, protection and security related training, as well as emergency crisis management, exercise simulation strategy and compliance.

At the U.S. Coast Guard, Ms. Fish represented maritime port security issues regarding risk analysis, marine safety and security, and protection of commerce within guidelines of new national security measures. She collaborated with Maritime Intelligence, Worldwide Shipping Port Authorities, Maritime Unions, State Department Policy/Regulations, and other Customs and Border Protection (CBP) branches on transportation of maritime Hazmat and National Security Cargo interest. She also developed Port Security procedures and processes subsequently adopted by the USCG as standard protocol.

Ms. Fish has served as a subject matter expert in international counterterrorism field information management and coordinated extremely high-profile worldwide intelligence training programs for over 56 country divisions focused on national security issues, resulting in the increase of worldwide security measures.

Ms. Fish has worked directly with over 22 federal agencies, hundreds of private sector corporations, and state/local agencies on various security initiatives. She has developed long term protocols, standard operating procedures and directed production of counterterrorism risk cycles /subject, including one that resulted in an operational subject analysis subsequently briefed to the White House National Security Council and to the President of the United States, with the President supporting the National Security Assessment and the risk analysis decision. She has been awarded with Honorary Presidential Meetings three times since 2001.

Ms. Fish was a commissioned officer in law enforcement, is a member of the American Association of International Security and a former vice president of the Criminal Justice Association. She holds current TS/SCI, H, TKI, SSBI and CI Poly Security Clearances.
