White Castle(R) Honors Louisville Native for Making Slyders(R) a Family Affair!
COLUMBUS, Ohio, Nov. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- White Castle announced the 2008
winners for its annual Cravers Hall of Fame contest. Included in the group of
2008 inductees was Martin Nemes fromLouisville, KY. Nemes was inducted into
the Hall of Fame on Thursday, November 13 for his longstanding infatuation
with the Crave! He had his first Slyder(R) at five years old and ever since he
has made sure his family members experience the same goodness.
Nemes has taken Slyders(R) to family functions all the way fromLouisville
toTexas. He has taken them to visit with his sister inSan Diego and he even
made sure to take six dozen of the burgers toGermany for his grandchild's
birth. Nemes made sure to bring his two daughters (Carol and Karen) with him
to the induction ceremony, held inColumbus, Ohio. It is clearly evident that
Martin Nemes has made White Castle a family affair!
The Cravers Hall of Fame (CHOF) was established in 2001 to honor loyal
lovers of the square, steam-grilled hamburgers who share their stories about
their devotion to the original Slider(TM). Since that first year, White Castle
has received over 5,500 entries from every U.S. state. Currently, 97 Cravers
have made the grade and been inducted into the hall of fame. All winning
