Al-Qaida No. 2 al-Zawahri Plays the "N"Card

"Al-Qaida No. 2 Ayman al-Zawahri insulted Barack Obama in the terror group's first reaction to his election, calling him a demeaning racial term implying that the president-elect is a black American who does the bidding of whites.

The message appeared chiefly aimed at persuading Muslims and Arabs that Obama does not represent a change in U.S. policies. Al-Zawahri said in the message, which appeared on militant Web sites Wednesday, that Obama is 'the direct opposite of honorable black Americans' like Malcolm X, the 1960s African-American rights leader.

Al-Zawahri also called Obama - along with secretaries of state Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice - 'house negroes.'" The Associated Press/MAAMOUN YOUSSEF and LEE KEATH

It's been seven years and counting since the devastating 9/11 attacks, and al Qaida has been unable to launch another attack in the United States. Al Qaida has been decimated in Iraq and weakened in Afghanistan and elsewhere in the world. The once seemingly invincible terrorist organization has been reduced to hurling verbal bombs.

The 11-minute 23-second video is not shot in high-def, the amateurish video features the inflammatory rhetoric of Al-Zawahri and footage of Malcolm X. Al Qaida's No. 2 is too cowardly to appear on the video, lest the NATO forces in Afghanistan find out where he is and blow him to Kingdom Come.

The Jihadists know that race is a very sensitive issue , and by calling Obama a "house Negro" they are hoping to widen the racial divide in America. They will fail miserably, Americans of all ethnicities will rally behind President-elect Barack Obama.

However I do agree with Al-Zawahri when he argues that Obama's plan to increase troop levels in Afghanistan is doomed to failure. We can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel in Iraq, our combat soldiers will leave Iraq under an Obama administration. But they should go home, and not be sent to the Afghanistan hell hole.

The Taliban, or a similar Islamic organization, is destined to reclaim Afghanistan as soon as NATO forces leave. It is not our God-given right to impose our form of government on every developing country in the world. We should get the hell out of Afghanistan as soon as possible.

If a Muslim country harbors terrorists who are launching attacks against America, we should bomb that country back to the stone age. But we shouldn't then turn around and rebuild the country, and imagine that we can impose a democracy on a people that hate America and hate democracy.
