Butterball and Gather Host Thanksgiving Web Chat and Recipe Contest

BOSTON, Nov. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Gather (www.gather.com), the social network with substance for the over-thirty crowd, and Butterball(R), America's No. 1 brand of turkey, are working together to bring the Butterball Turkey Talk-Line(R) experts to the popular social networking site. A live chat (food.gather.com) is scheduled for Wednesday, November 26 from 1 to 2 p.m. EST. The live chat makes it easier than ever for cooks to ask last-minute questions of the Turkey Talk-Line experts, as well as learn the latest and greatest tips for preparing a tender and juicy turkey. Ten live chat participants will be randomly selected to receive a $15 Butterball Turkey gift check.

In addition to the Gather live chat, Butterball will award $15Turkey gift checks to 15 Gather members who submit "Think Outside theTurkey" holiday side-dish recipes. All "Think Outside theTurkey" side-dish recipes submitted to Gather's Food Essential Group (food.gather.com) between November 19 and November 25 will be automatically entered into a drawing. Winners will be notified during the live chat on November 26.

Mary Clingman, director of the Butterball Turkey Talk-Line, will lead the live chat along with well-known mommy blogger Susan Wagner, author of "Friday Playdate" and first-year Butterball Turkey Talk-Line blogger.
