Ecast BarPulse Shows Bar Goers Enjoy a Well-Blended Cocktail of Music While Out
NEW YORK, Nov. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- This month's Ecast(R) BarPulse(TM) shows
that bar goers gave an even nod to Pop, Country and Rock artists, putting
Pink, Hank Williams III and Oasis in the top 10 with two tracks each.
Topping Ecast's October BarPulse, a monthly, national ranking of new music
played in bars, is Pink's breakup anthem "So What" from her chart-topping
album "Funhouse." The Grammy Award winner's "Sober" appears at number seven.
Giving the bad girl of pop rock a run for her money is country punk rocker
Hank Williams III with two songs from his new album "Damn Right, Rebel Proud"
at number four and six. English rock band Oasis comes in at number three with
"The Shock of the Lightning" and again at number nine with "Bag it Up."
Keyshia Cole -- with the 2Pac cover "Playa Cardz Right" -- is the sole
representative this month from the R&B category, which along with Hip Hop
usually takes at least two places in the BarPulse roundup.
