His Excellency, Andre Kimbuta, Governor of Kinshasa, Visits U.S. to Meet With Prime Income Asset Management and Balkan Energy Officials
DALLAS, Nov. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- His Excellency, Andre Kimbuta, governor of
Kinshasa,Democratic Republic of the Congo, along with a 7-person government
delegation, visited the U.S. recently on a fact-finding mission regarding
possible assistance for infrastructure development for his country.
Governor Kimbuta and his team were met by officials fromDallas-based
Prime Income Asset Management LLC, an advisory and management company to real
estate and energy sector companies and Balkan Energy Company LLC, a privately
owned energy company, which handles power projects in developing countries.
Balkan Energy, originally formed to explore ways to provide power toAlbania
and other Balkan countries, has since expanded its footprint to include the
African nations ofGhana andBotswana. According to Prime officials, in
addition to possibly building new power plants inKinshasa, the largest
province in theCongo, an upcoming Conference of French-speaking countries to
be held inKinshasa in 2010 was among several reasons for the recent stateside
visit.

resolving our power and infrastructure issues, so that we can provide much
needed relief and a better life for the people of our country, while
continuing to encourage normal business operations by national and
international investors."

hydro plants, also faces a shortage of electricity and significant
infrastructure development due to the country's continued growth," said Daniel
