BASKING RIDGE, N.J., Nov. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Axion Golf -- a
division of Axion International Holdings Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: AXIH) and
provider of the company's 100-percent "green" materials for building
golf-course bridges and walkways -- today announces PGA TOUR star and
accomplished course designer Brad Faxon will promote its products as company
advisor.
A 25-year TOUR veteran with eight victories and two Ryder Cup appearances,
Faxon will help market Axion's environmentally sound, cost-competitive and
ultra-durable structures for golf courses being built, renovated and regularly
maintained. The 2005 Payne Stewart Award winner and an active charity
fundraiser, Faxon is one of the golf community's most respected figures.
Faxon is also a budding star in course design, working with partner Brad
Booth on high-profile projects throughout the U.S. andCanada, including the
famed Samoset Resort (Rockport, ME). In addition, Faxon and architect Gil
Hanse remodeled the TPC ofBoston, home of the FedEx Cup's Deutsche Bank
Championship and Golf Digest's "Best Private Renovation" in 2007. Signifying
Faxon's commitment to environmental stewardship, his co-design with Booth at
the Bay Club inMattapoisett, Mass., is the state's only course to earn
Audubon International Silver Signature Sanctuary status.
Tested to last more than 50 years with minimal wear and tear, the
company's patented composites resist the rotting, corrosion, leaching,
cracking, rust and overall deterioration associated with conventional building
materials.
"During my golf career, I've seen many new technologies enter and exit the
market, and Axion is a sure bet to transform the way bridges, walkways and
landscaping are constructed," says Faxon. "I'm thrilled to educate the golf
industry about Axion's long-lasting, environmentally-friendly and affordable
benefits."
"Brad Faxon is a very intelligent and passionate golf-course designer, and
it means a lot for him to give Axion bridges and walkways two thumbs up," says
James Kerstein, CEO of Axion. "This further validates the rapid acceptance of
Axion among course architects, developers, owners and superintendents seeking
sustainable materials which consistently perform better."
In addition to bridges traversing waterways, wetlands and other
challenging topographies, Axion materials are used to create walkways and
attractive landscaping for bulk-heading and framing walkways, cart paths, tee
boxes and steps.

About Axion International
In conjunction with scientists from Rutgers University, Axion developed
patented technologies which convert 100-percent recycled consumer and
industrial materials -- waste otherwise destined for landfills -- into
structural products used in commercial applications. These super-polymer
composites are extremely strong, flexible in use, long-lasting, low
maintenance and cost-effective. For these reasons, the U.S. Army recently
selected Axion bridges to carry its heavily-armored tanks. Operating from a
"green" base with a "no-trees-cut-down" mentality, Axion management has more
than 100 years in the plastics industry.
