MND-B Soldiers detain suspected terrorist

BAGHDAD - Multi-National Division - Baghdad Soldiers detained a suspected terrorist Nov. 17 in southern Baghdad's Rashid district.

At approximately 11 p.m. in the Risalah neighborhood, Soldiers from Company B, 4th Battalion, 64th Armor Regiment, attached to the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, MND-B, detained the individual, suspected of attacks against Coalition forces, during an operation.

"Capturing known criminals and getting them off the streets is part of the 1st 'Raider' Brigade's primary mission to provide a safe and secure environment for the Iraqi people," said Maj. Dave Olson, 1st BCT Spokesman, 4th Inf. Div., MND-B. "The Iraqi Security Forces are continually taking on more responsibility by securing their country and the people of Iraq."
