Iraqi Security Forces confiscate weapons

BAGHDAD - Iraqi Security Forces and members of Troop C, 4th Squadron, 10th Cavalry Regiment, operationally attached to the 2nd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Multi-National Division-Baghdad, confiscated an enemy weapons cache in Ameriya following a tip from a local national.

The cache included a sniper rifle, mortar rounds and many other illegal weapons components. According to Coalition forces in the area, the confiscation of this cache will certainly hinder insurgent groups operating in Ameriya, making the neighborhood a safer place.
