As past secretary and current vice-chair of SETDA's Board of Directors, Jayne is respected by her colleagues within Maryland and across the nation. She is the epitome of a good leader, a knowledgeable source of support for the potential of technology to inform teaching and learning, and a mentor to new SETDA members. Her ability to believe in and to inspire others to advocate, to engage and to provide a forum for others to increase their involvement, to move forward the agenda of individual student success for a future in a global marketplace, is tribute to the legacy Jayne continues to build. "Jayne Moore provides information on fostering partnerships with local school districts, state and Congressional legislators, and the national business community. And as a role model in collaboration, Jayne is seen as an advocate for the integration of technology into the curriculum by joining with other educators, especially in the areas of media, science and mathematics," according to Mary Ann Wolf, Ph.D., Executive Director of SETDA. For nearly 20 years, Jayne has trained and supported thousands of educators in the effective use of technology to enhance classroom practice. In her current position, educational technology success in Maryland has seen great improvement in the student to computer ratio, the acquisition of technology at the school site level, and the data driven decision making ability of teachers and administrators.
