WeBop! Jazz for Children 8 Months - 5 Years: Winter Term Open for Enrollment
Who/What:
Jazz at Lincoln Center's WeBop! classes are now open for enrollment for the Winter Term with free trial classes for interested parents December 6 and 7. Classes are segmented based on age:
HIPSTERS: 8-16 months old
SCATTERS: Walking-23 months old
STOMPERS: 2-3 years old
GUMBO GROUP: 3-5 years old
SYNCOPATORS: 4-5 years old
Intended for children ages 8 months-5 years old, WeBop!'s Winter term explores the styles of jazz including bebop, swing, cool and many more. These classes offer a creative outlet for children and their parents/caregivers to explore jazz through movement, songs, storytelling and play. WeBop! is produced in collaboration with Dr. Lori Custodero of Teachers College at Columbia University.

Where:
Louis Armstrong Classroom, Irene Diamond Education Center, Frederick P. Rose Hall, home of Jazz at Lincoln Center, on Broadway at 60th Street, New York City.
When:
Winter Term runs weekly from January 6 through March 1, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, Sundays. Free trial classes on December 6 and 7 at 9:30 a.m. (8-23 months), 10:30 a.m. (2-3 years old), 11:30 a.m. (4-5 years old) or 12:30 p.m. (3-5 years old).
