Servant Systems Christmas Decor Software Upgrade Delivers Annual Royalty Reports and More
ANN ARBOR, Mich., Nov. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Don DeSmith, president of
software developer Servant Systems, Inc., announced the release of the
Christmas Decor 2008 version of the LightRight franchise management software
introduced August, 2007. In addition to the many advanced features of the
original LightRight, this latest version includes an inventory system and
weekly summary of activity, which, at the end of year, becomes the royalty
report.
This major upgrade incorporates other new features and a Wizard that makes
the software more convenient to the user in estimating, scheduling jobs and
employees, calendaring, and financially managing accounts (including
invoicing, receivables and bank deposits). It also enables year-to-year
rollover of residential and commercial customer and prospect records, pricing
updates, workflow management, and analysis of marketing campaigns and job
costs. The new version of the software will generate individual cover letters
based on customer histories and contract agreements for one to three years as
needed.
The LightRight software was created using Microsoft .NET development
tools. It will continue to be enhanced over the next several years to take
advantage of emerging technologies and to support Christmas Decor expansion.
There are now some 380 franchisees in the Christmas Decor system. They are
currently upgrading to the new software version, which will give them
unprecedented managerial control of their business operations for the holiday
season.
