MainSource Bank and 1st Independence Bank Consolidate

(NASDAQ: MSFG) -- Daryl R. Tressler, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of MainSource Bank, announced today that MainSource Bank of Greensburg, Indiana and 1st Independence Bank have consolidated operations into one bank. 1st Independence Bank offices converted to MainSource Bank effective at the close of business on November 15, 2008.

MainSource Bank's main office is headquartered in Greensburg, Indiana, and now has assets of approximately $2.4 billion. With 68 banking offices in 31 counties throughout Indiana, and 4 banking offices in 3 Kentucky counties, customers have the opportunity to bank at a variety of locations. MainSource Bank also provides ATMs or cash machines at most locations, which increases the customers' accessibility to their funds.
