Trans Energy to Present at the Houston Energy Financial Forum

ST. MARYS, W.Va., Nov. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Trans Energy, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: TENG) announced today that James K. Abcouwer, President and CEO, will present at the 2008 Houston Energy Financial Forum being held at the Houstonian Hotel, from Tuesday November 18, 2008 through Thursday November 20, 2008.

Mr. Abcouwer will be presenting at the conference on Wednesday, November 19th at 3:30pm. During his presentation, Mr. Abcouwer plans to discuss the company's outlook, its opportunities in the Appalachian Basin including its recent drilling activities in the Marcellus shale, and its joint venture operations with Republic Energy, Inc. Accompanying Mr. Abcouwer and participating in the Q&A following the presentations will be Dan Steward, Republic's Senior Geologist, and Lisa Corbitt, Trans Energy's VP of Finance & Accounting.
