'Urban Renaissance' CREW 2009 Regional Conference in Cincinnati April 23-25, 2009

CINCINNATI, Nov. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- An Urban Renaissance theme will brand the 2009 Midwest Regional Conference presented by Commercial Real Estate Women ofGreater Cincinnati (CREW GC), running April 23-25, 2009 at the Hilton Netherland Plaza in downtownCincinnati. The event is a high-level professional symposium packed with expert presentations, panel discussions city tours and networking opportunities.

CREW GC (http://www.crewcincinnati09.com), the local commercial real estate industry and the entire region will be rolling out the red carpet for an estimated 250+ CREW professionals from across the country. The local chapter was formed in 1995 by a handful of leaders who have since developed the group into one of the leading professional associations in theGreater Cincinnati region of southwesternOhio,Northern Kentucky and southeast Indiana.

Planning for the conference began earlier this year and will be spear-headed by co-chairs and past presidents of CREW -- Denise Hamet, Economic Program Manager forMiddletown, Ohio; and Kelly Fried, Development Services Manager at Phillips Edison. Committees are comprised of local CREW members.

Janet Rullman, President-elect of CREW and Industrial Hygienist at Westech Environmental Solutions who will play an active role in the conference efforts, added insight to the conference impact. "Over the last few years, Cincinnati andNorthern Kentucky has experienced a surge in the downtown core, with new retail, restaurant and residential facilities, all of which seem to have been kicked off by the revitalization of the heart of the urban core at Fountain Square and continued activity on theNorthern Kentucky riverfront," Rullman said.
