Plethora Names National Launch Partner for Secure Remote Access Service
MILLINGTON, Tenn., Nov. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Sparco, aMillington, TN
computer software, hardware, and services company, has been selected as the
national launch partner for the introduction of Plethora Technology's
Enterprise-in-a-Flash secure remote access service. TheMillington company
was selected for its expertise, and for itsMemphis-area location.
"In selecting our national launch partner, we looked for two things: a
company well-respected in the computer industry, and a market with a national
and international business community. Sparco andMemphis fit the bill,"
according to Annette Kerlin, CEO of Plethora Technology, aWest Virginia-based
technology company that serves major government agencies and corporate
clients.
"We are very excited to play a key role in this product launch," said
Eduardo Perez-Glez, Sparco General Manager. "We have seen tremendous interest
in a remote access service that is secure, easy to use, and reasonably priced.
Enterprise-in-a-Flash meets all three criteria."
The Enterprise-in-a-Flash technology provides a secure method for
travelers or telecommuters to access their business computers. Unlike other
remote access services that rely solely on passwords, Enterprise-in-a-Flash
combines a unique USB Flash Key with a password to create a patented two-step
identity verification procedure. Enterprise-in-a-Flash also features 256-bit
AES encryption, substantially more powerful than the encryption used by their
leading competitor.
Targets for this new service include anyone needing remote access to
computers with sensitive information like personnel records, financial data,
healthcare information, or client credit card numbers. "Health care and
logistics companies as well as attorneys already have demonstrated a strong
interest in this remote access product," Kerlin said.
In addition to dozens of resellers like Sparco and hundreds of their
commercial customers, some users of Enterprise-in-a-Flash include the US
Departments of Energy, Labor, and Transportation, the West Virginia State
Department of Commerce, andJefferson County Public Schools. More information
