PHOTOS: Cyclone Soldiers snatch SGCs during target raids in Risalah

FORWARD OPERATING BASE FALCON, Iraq - 1st Lt. Matthew Lacki, a platoon leader from Detroit, assigned to Company C, 4th Battalion, 64th Armor Regiment, attached to the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, calls into his platoon sergeant to check on the status of the target during a combat mission to detain a Special Groups criminal hiding in the Risalah community. The Soldiers of "Cyclone" Company, an armor company in a combined arms battalion, maintain a presence 24 hours-per-day in southwestern Baghdad's Rashid district to assist Iraqi National Policemen from the 5th Brigade, 2nd National Police Division during ongoing security operations.

FORWARD OPERATING BASE FALCON, Iraq - Soldiers from Company C, 4th Battalion, 64th Armor Regiment, enter an Iraqi house during an early morning raid in the Risalah community of southern Baghdad's Rashid district. Co. C, or "Cyclone," deployed to Baghdad three separate occasions since the start of the war. Soldiers of the 4th Bn., 64th Armor Regt., "Tuskers," are attached to the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, and nearing the end of a 15-month deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. The Tuskers are part of the 4th Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, from Fort Stewart, Ga.
